Semesters in Chicago with Seagull Institute and Roosevelt University

Seagull Institute is excited to now offer a customized semester study abroad program. The academic semester can be followed by an internship if so desired. 
 
Our partnership with Roosevelt University offers either:
1. One semester of studies at Roosevelt University in which  
     Seagull Institute acts only as an agent
2. A customized Semester program consisting of
     preselected coursework selected by the University or an  
​     individual student

The courses and lectures will be taught by different American professors, who are employed by Seagull Institute. In addition to major specific content, the student will take an English course offered by Roosevelt. All classes will be held at Roosevelt University.
 
Through this program, participants will complete a full semester immersed as real American students and enjoy all the benefits from having student status at Roosevelt University. They will have full access to all the Universities’ facilities including the bookstore, gym and cafeteria. Additionally, students can choose to live on the campus if they would like.

• Student status at Roosevelt University
• 12 hours of classes per week taught by University professors with excellent reputations in the city of Chicago. Courses include but are not limited to the following: Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Advertising, Communications, Leadership, and Digital Technology.
• An English class
• Conferences taught by leading professionals in their respective industries
• American company visits including preparation prior to the visit and a debriefing afterwards
• Volunteering at events in Chicago
• Discovery Activities offered by Seagull Institute
• Availability of chaperones for students
• Optional housing accommodations in a student residence on Roosevelt University’s campus
