Price and Content
The price of a customized semester ranges between $5,500 and $6,000 depending on the number of students participating. An economy of scale is applied once the number of students exceeds the number of 10.
The price of a Semester program includes:
- 9 hours on specific subjects (Courses taught by Seagull Institute Professors)
* Only the SEVIS fee and US embassy fee remain as an expense for the Participant
The price of a Semester program includes:
- Administration fees
- Assistance through the visa process and the costs associated with obtaining a J1 visa (The Exchange Visitor non-immigrant visa)*
- 12 hours of classes per week taught by University professors with excellent reputations in the city of Chicago. Courses can include but are not limited to the following: Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Advertising, Communications, Leadership, and Digital Technology.
- 9 hours on specific subjects (Courses taught by Seagull Institute Professors)
- Tours and competitive presentations given by industry leading companies (including student preparation prior to the visit and a debriefing afterwards)
- Conferences taught by professionals
- Volunteering at corporate or sporting events
- An orientation session before leaving for Chicago
- Bi-monthly coaching sessions with our Founder
- The assistance of a team located in Chicago for the duration of the stay
- At the end of the semester, a final presentation in English of the student’s personal and professional project in front of a jury
- Unlimited access to activities organized by Seagull during the semester program including various discovery activities like guided tours of Chicago, boat rides on Lake Michigan, a visit to a gospel church, etc
