Terry Franzen
Procurement Instructor
Terry Franzen is an independent contractor with expertise in procurement, indirect sourcing, and contract negotiations. He holds masters degrees from Western Illinois University and the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University. He also holds two certificates from the Institute for Supply Management, the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) and the Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD).
Terry held a variety of management positions in the procurement department in his 21-year tenure at AT&T, a multinational telecommunications corporation. He then took a position as the Ethical Purchasing Manager for HSBC, focusing on sustainable sourcing and suppler diversity. Now, he works as an independent contractor with a wide variety of clients, including Takeda Pharmaceuticals, the City Colleges of Chicago, and CapitalOne. In 2008, he served as the President of the Institute for Supply Chain Management, where he currently sits on the board.
