WHO WE ARE SEEKING
We are searching for a Program Coordinator who is ready to grow with us as we continue to expand our business by providing life changing programs to students and young professionals from all over the world. The candidate we seek has an entrepreneurial spirit and strives in a startup organization. If you have an absolutely contagious “Can-Do Attitude”, you are very organized and you strongly value offering an outstanding experience to our participants, then we’re interested in you!
DESCRIPTION:
Plan and coordinate our programs in Chicago and occasionally help coordinate programs in other countries (mentioned above) as needed. Manage program logistics included but not limited to:
Perform administrative tasks to ensure continued company success. Responsibilities include:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Seeking applicants who have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong Can-Do Attitude, and are hardworking, mature, and creative.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
WORK ENVIRONMENT
During program planning: work is performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Possibility of working from home once or twice a week when program participants are not in town.
During program: worked will be performed at our US partner Universities, Businesses, etc… Mostly outside of the office.
PHYSICAL FACTORS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel the computer; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

- Room rentals
- Speaker/teacher recruitment
- Catering
- Order supplies for programs
- Manage program budgets
- Collect and manage receipts
- Source and coordinate company visits
- Plan outings and tourism activities
- Coordinate transportation
Perform administrative tasks to ensure continued company success. Responsibilities include:
- Create and monitor original content for social media accounts
- Manage ongoing communication with students, teachers, professionals, partners and clients
- Create and maintain marketing materials such as company website, brochures, and client pitches
- Copywriting and copyediting
- Manage relationships with vendors
- Create and analyze post-program evaluations
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Seeking applicants who have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong Can-Do Attitude, and are hardworking, mature, and creative.
- Proven record of consistently and effectively taking initiative and being flexible.
- Intercultural experience and competence
- Commitment to diversity and equity, including comfort working with a diverse teams
- Strong organizational skills, both in terms of time management and in detail-oriented work
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM, CMS)
- Familiarity with Google programs (Google mail, calendar, drive, etc.)
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends while programs are in town
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Event Management
- Project Management
- Experience living in a country other than the U.S.
- Fluency in French is a plus but not required
