POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Program Coordinator reports to the founder and the program manager of Seagull Institute and is able to work as a team member and independently. The Program Coordinator plans and coordinates all activities in Chicago and helps coordinate program activities in other countries, as needed.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In-between programs: Work will be performed both in an office setting and remotely. The candidate must be available to start work at 8 am CST to accommodate meetings with team members in Europe.
During programs: (when participants are in Chicago): Work will be conducted at our U.S. partner universities and company partners. The candidate must be flexible and fully available to work in downtown Chicago, primarily in-person. This role requires a commitment of 50+ hours per week during the program. The candidate must also be willing and able to work nights and weekends while participants are in Chicago.
PHYSICAL FACTORS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel the computer; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must live in Chicago-area and have the ability to work in the US (US citizenship or Green Card).

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Program Coordinator reports to the founder and the program manager of Seagull Institute and is able to work as a team member and independently. The Program Coordinator plans and coordinates all activities in Chicago and helps coordinate program activities in other countries, as needed.
- Facilitate information sessions and activities with groups of students, professionals, and entrepreneurs, face-to-face and online
- Represent Seagull and its values to participants through a Can-Do Attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
- Ensure the smooth running of the program by promoting a climate of trust and respect between participants
- Coordinate ongoing communications with students, teachers, professionals, partners and clients
- Assist with the recruitment of speakers and teachers
- Coordinate the program syllabus content with the rest of the team
- Facilitate relationships with vendors
- Support the evaluation, coordination, arrangement and negotiation process for housing, classroom rentals, food and transportation
- Source through networking and coordinate company experience visits
- Develop and plan outings and tourism activities
- Create, monitor and deliver original content for social media accounts
- Create and deliver marketing materials, such as company website, brochures, and client pitches
- Provide copywriting and copyediting
- Create and analyze post-program evaluations
PROFILE: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to work with a diverse and international team based in the US and in Europe

- Business Acumen, knowledge about Marketing, Communications, Human Resources and Supply Chain Management
- You have the following computer skills:
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, etc)
- Experience using Google Suite (Gmail, calendar, etc.)
- Experience using a: Project Management system (such as Monday.com), Content Management System (CMS), CRM and educational platform
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Experience living in a country other than the U.S. (preferred)
- Knowledge of French culture and fluency in French (preferred)
