Phoebe Schreckinger
Program Coordinator

Phoebe Schreckinger is a program coordinator at Seagull Institute based in Chicago, IL. Born and raised in New York City, she moved to Iowa to attend Grinnell College in 2015. Having studied French in highschool, Phoebe decided to continue her language studies and her first ever course in college was on French New Wave Cinema. She was enthralled by the challenge of learning a new language through media and communication, and soon after declared her major in French. 

During her time as a student, Phoebe spent a semester in Toulouse, France. After graduating in 2019, Phoebe returned to France and lived in  Paris for a year, where she worked as an Au Pair and instructed English. Phoebe is passionate about connecting with others and creating international opportunities for students around the world. She is a proud member of the Seagull Team!
