Peter Stonebraker
Procurement Instructor

Dr. Peter Stonebraker is a Clinical Professor of Supply Chain Management at Loyola University. He earned his PhD in business administration from Arizona State University and an MBA in international management from Jacksonville State University. He teaches a range of courses on supply chain management, and he once received a grant to spend eight months in Ekaterinburg, Sibera, teaching supply chain management and operations. He is Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management with the Association for Operations Management.
He has authored or coauthored four books and over a dozen refereed articles, including two textbooks Operations Strategy: Focusing Competitive Excellence and Production and Operations Management. His teachings and publications have won numerous awards, including LEAD Award from the Student Government Association at Northeastern Illinois University, the Master Instructor Award from the Chicago Chapter of the Association for Operations Management, and he won an award at the DSI Instructional Innovation Competition.
Outside of teaching, he has consulted for a wide range of companies, including Abbott Laboratories, Kraft Foods, Knaak Automotive, Marconi Electronics, Motorola, Rust-Oleum, U.S. Robotics, and W.W. Grainger.
