John Caltagirone is a strong leader with over 40 years of experience in Supply and Value Chain Management and technology, who has a proven track record of achieving positive change and measurable results through strategic planning and execution, as well as the implementation of state-of-the-art supply chain programs. Publications include Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies, Operations & Fulfillment magazine, Food Logistics, as well as serving on the Editorial Board for Supply Chain Management Review. Is a frequent speaker at professional organizations and universities on supply and value chain management, logistics, operations management, sustainability, and responsible leadership. Is the lead faculty for business consulting. Was the Founding and Executive Director of the Supply & Value Chain Center at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business and Founding Director of the Business Leadership Hub. He is an Executive Lecturer on Global Supply Chain Management and Sustainability courses in the Executive MBA, MBA and MSSCM Programs. He also served as a faculty member for Illinois Institute of Technology; where he launched a concentration in Logistics and as a faculty member for the Graduate program in Supply Chain Management at Elmhurst College, designed four core courses that he taught. He is a former Executive Committee member of the Council of Logistics Management Executive Board, past President of the Chicago Roundtable, past Board member for the American Production and Inventory Control Society and served on the CSCMP Executive Education Strategies committee. Was the Conference Chair for the CSCMP 2008 Annual Global Conference. In 2005 was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award in Advancing Supply Chain Management Education through Film.
