Jennifer Aldred
Human Resources Instructor
Since graduating with her undergrad in May of 1993, Jennifer Aldred has taught developmental kindergarten, first grade, second grade, sixth and seventh grade English Language Arts and Reading. She has also taught at the graduate level for a local university, and is currently teaching inter-organizational and global communications at the Undergraduate level for Roosevelt University. Her number one objective has always been to make connections between course work and real-world applications.
Jennifer worked for the Illinois State Board of Education as an Continuous Improvement Specialist for 3 years, and then became the Literacy Specialist for West 40 Intermediate Service Center. There she directed several districts as they implemented a federal reading program. When that grant closed, she stayed on as the Principal Consultant for Teaching and Organization Development.
Teaching is and always has been at the heart of what she does, and collaborating with others to ensure continuity of curriculum and instructional strategies is key.
