Eva Papastratides
European Business Development Coordinator
After just one year of law school in Lyon, France, Eva Papastratides received a full scholarship from the University of West Florida in Pensacola to play for their tennis team. While there, she received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Psychology and went on to work for the Escambia Sheriff's Office as a crime scene technician. She then pursued a Master’s degree in Health Education and Psychology. In addition to earning her degree, she taught tennis classes for the university and worked as a teaching assistant.
Eva returned to France and worked for Interpol in 2010 where she was in charge of the fingerprints and DNA databases. She was then hired by Akuo Energy, a renewable energy firm, in Paris where she worked as an engineer in renewable energies. She followed the solar plants’ production and was in charge of managing a maintenance team. In April of 2014, Eva moved to Italy where she trained to become an English teacher. She then received her CELTA certificate from Cambridge University in October of that same year. She is currently teaching sports and English. Eva met Jonathan Broutin through her contacts at Akuo Energy and has since joined the Seagull Institute team as the European Development Coordinator for the programs. |
