Discovering Chicago Culture

Chicago is a city full of unique places to discover. Seagull offers a variety of unique discovery activities. 

Here are some activities Seagull Institute suggests:

• Attend a baseball game at either Wrigley Field or US Cellular Field
• Take a boat ride on Lake Michigan
• Sample local specialties like deep dish pizza or a Chicago style hot dog
• Attend a service at a South-side Gospel church
• An immersion into American art at the Art Institute’s "American Modern Art" exhibit​
• Hang out on some of our 15 miles of beaches
• Try some excellent Chinese cuisine in China Town
• Take an architectural boat tour or try kayaking on the Chicago River

All these activities are fun ways to open a student’s mind and leave them with an unforgettable memory!
