Claire Seifert
Program Coordinator
Claire Seifert earned her bachelors degree in communications, specializing in global and intercultural relations, and a minor in French from Bowling Green State University in 2013.
Immediately after graduating, Claire relocated to Lille, France, to work as an au pair as a way to improve her French language skills and immerse herself into the culture. Traveling abroad and living in Europe helped affirm Claire's wont to leave her comfort zone and has since solidified her passion to help others do the same. After becoming a full fledged Francophile, Claire knew it was time to move back home to accomplish a new goal of working for a French Company in her hometown of Chicago.
Shortly after returning, Claire accepted a job at the North American Headquarters of Veolia, the multi-billion-dollar French environmental service company, where she assisted senior executives, managed the office, coordinated events, and translated documents.
Claire joined Seagull Institute as a Program Coordinator in June of 2016. She is elated to be a part of the team and couldn't be happier getting her French fix all while showing off her first love: The city of Chicago.
With two marathons under her belt, a passion for travel, and a love of all things French, you can catch Claire running to the nearest patisserie before setting out on a weekend get-a-way.
