Seagull Institute is an international education and training organization delivering customized, faculty-led programs across North America and Europe.
We work closely with universities to design high-impact learning experiences that combine:
Our participants are young professionals (not traditional full-time students). They are enrolled in apprenticeship pathways and work part-time in their field, which means they arrive with real work experience and professional expectations.
The Toronto Program
In May 2026, Seagull Institute will deliver its first program in Toronto, in partnership with Université Paris-Saclay (France) — the largest university in France and a leading European research university recognized worldwide for excellence in science, innovation, and impact.

Program Overview:
A key component of the program is CompX™ – Company Experiences, where students visit major organizations, exchange with professionals, and connect concepts with real-world business practices.
Why We Are Building a Local Support Team
Toronto is a new destination for Seagull Institute. To deliver the same level of excellence and care that defines our programs globally, we are building a local support ecosystem made up of professionals, volunteers, and connectors who know the city and want to be part of an international educational experience.
We are looking for reliable, organized, and people-oriented individuals who would like to contribute in different ways, depending on availability and interest.
Ways to Get Involved
1. Event Planning & On-Site Coordination
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys logistics, coordination, and teamwork, and wants to be closely involved in the program experience from preparation to execution.
We are looking for individuals to support the program planning phase and transition into on-site coordination during program week.
Phase 1 - Planning (February - May 2026)
Flexible commitment: up to 20 hours per week
Responsibilities may include:
Applicants will indicate their weekly availability (5h / 10h / 15h / 20h) in the application form.
Phase 2 - On-Site Coordination (Saturday, May 9 to Saturday, May 16)
Full availability required.
Responsibilities may include:
This role requires strong ownership, reliability, and adaptability.
2. On-Site Coordination Only (Program Week)
For individuals who prefer to be involved during program week without participating in the planning phase.
Preparation Requirement
Selected coordination members must participate in:
Program Week Commitment
Saturday, May 9 – Saturday, May 16, 2026 - Full availability required.
Responsibilities may include:
Compensation: CAD 1,500 flat fee

Program Overview:
- Location: Toronto, Canada
- Dates: Sunday, May 10 – Saturday, May 16, 2026
- Participants: French young professionals enrolled in Master's degree apprenticeship program (they work part-time in their field alongside their studies)
- Focus: Professional development, industry exposure, and applied learning

- Assisting with CompX™ company visits coordination
- Supporting transportation planning and scheduling
- Preparing materials and documentation
- Assisting with speaker and partner coordination
- Participating in weekly planning meetings

Phase 2 - On-Site Coordination (Saturday, May 9 to Saturday, May 16)
Full availability required.
Responsibilities may include:
- Leading daily logistics execution
- Coordinating student transitions between activities
- Supporting CompX™ company visits on-site
- Managing real-time operational adjustments
- Supporting students and faculty throughout the week
- Serving as a point of contact for specific program components
This role requires strong ownership, reliability, and adaptability.
2. On-Site Coordination Only (Program Week)
For individuals who prefer to be involved during program week without participating in the planning phase.
Preparation Requirement
Selected coordination members must participate in:
- 4 preparation sessions
- 90 minutes each
- 1 session per week
- During the 4 weeks leading up to participant arrival
Program Week Commitment
Saturday, May 9 – Saturday, May 16, 2026 - Full availability required.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting daily operations
- Supporting student experience on-site
- Assisting with CompX™ visits
- Managing logistics during activities
Compensation: CAD 1,500 flat fee
3. Volunteering — Event-Based Support
For those who would like to support specific moments of the program.
Support may include:
- Airport welcome assistance
- Welcome dinner support
- Selected company visits
- Special events
4. Networking & Professional Connections Support
Support the program by introducing:
- Toronto-based companies (Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Consulting)
- Industry professionals
- Potential speakers or site visit hosts
What we need most: introductions to organizations willing to host a CompX™ visit (or to the right decision-maker). Even one strong connection can make a major difference.
Who We Are Looking For
- Reliable and organized individuals
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments
- Familiar with Toronto and its professional ecosystem
- Strong communication and people skills
- Previous experience in events, education, logistics, hospitality, or volunteering is a plus (but not required)
