Maxime Ragot
Program Coordinator
Max joined Seagull Institute in April 2022 as an intern, just weeks after completing a student program in Chicago with AMOS – Sport Business School. What began as a hands-on internship quickly evolved into a long-term mission. Since then, he has coordinated academic programs for hundreds of students across Chicago, Paris, and Amsterdam — playing a key role in program design, logistics, and on-the-ground operations. Passionate about crafting meaningful experiences, Max approaches each program with a focus on discovery, reflection, and transformation. Whether organizing company visits, facilitating workshops, or curating cultural immersion activities, he is driven by the desire to create lasting impact — helping students uncover their purpose and expand their perspective. Originally from France, Max has lived in Nancy, Montélimar, Lyon, London, Valencia, Toulouse, and Bordeaux, and regularly spends time in Chicago. He has traveled to nearly 20 countries, with Valencia, London, and Chicago standing out as especially formative. Fluent in English and conversational in Spanish, Max brings a global mindset and cross-cultural fluency to everything he does. Prior to joining Seagull, Max co-founded Sainte Inside, an independent football media project born from his passion for AS Saint-Étienne. Although not all of the founders were students, the team shared a common goal: to provide engaging, original coverage of the club with a fresh perspective. Starting with news and insider updates — particularly around player transfers — Sainte Inside quickly built a strong reputation and network within the football and journalism communities. The project expanded into a weekly live show broadcasted on Twitch and YouTube, featuring special guests such as prominent sports journalists and former ASSE players. As the show’s popularity grew, Sainte Inside partnered with Activ Radio and eventually merged with the media outlet Peuple Vert, at which point Max stepped away to fully focus on his growing role at Seagull Institute. Max’s professional ethos is shaped by early challenges and a powerful family influence: his grandfather, a self-made entrepreneur, instilled in him the values of resilience, responsibility, and ambition. Today, Max brings those values into every program he builds — with empathy, integrity, and the conviction that growth begins the moment we choose to stretch beyond what’s familiar. |
