DESCRIPTION:

MANAGEMENT OF EDUCATIONAL ASPECTS OF SEMINARS & CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • MANAGEMENT OF EDUCATIONAL ASPECTS OF PROGRAMS : 
    • Reflection on the pedagogical approach of training / programs
    • Development and writing of syllabuses for participants
    • Manage our communications with our students, in particular by updating our educational portal and our educational presentations
    • Create quality reports on our programs
 
  • CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT 
    • Be the main point of contact for our clients and university partners
    • Work on business development (definition of business strategy, B2B prospecting, creation of business proposals, follow-up, etc.)
    • Create and manage invoices and contracts for customers

PROGRAM PLANNING & COORDINATION

  • Plan and coordinate educational programs/seminars/events
  • Manage a group of students, professionals or entrepreneurs, online or face-to-face
  • Facilitate information sessions or activities
  • Lead by Example. Represent Seagull and its values ​​to participants: dynamism, Can-Do Attitude, positivism, etc. and ensure the smooth running of the program by promoting a climate of trust and respect between participants
  • Recruit speakers/teachers
  • Source and coordinate company visits
  • Manage relationships with vendors
  • Rent conference rooms
  • Plan outings and tourist activities
  • Coordinate student transportation
  • Manage program budgets
  • Create and analyze post-program evaluations


PROFILE: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, a Can-Do Attitude, hardworking, mature and creative.
  • You have strong professional skills such as:
    • Good time and stress management
    • Meticulous and rigorous work with particular attention to detail
    • Clear and precise communication with active listening
    • Ability to speak in public
    • Ability to work in a team and collaborate as well as an ability to work independently and proactively
    • Sense of organization and respect for processes
    • Flexibility, adaptation and creative problem solving
    • Leadership
 
  • You have the following computer skills:
    • Content Management System (Weebly), CRM/Automation (Infusionsoft), CustomerHub, Kajabi, etc.
    • Knowledge of Google Suite (Gmail, calendar, etc.)
 
  • Your profile
    • You are based in Chicago and ready to work weekends when participants are in town.
    • Experience in project management and/or events.
    • Experience in the field of training with particular interest in pedagogy, innovative teaching methods and practices.
    • Personal development
    • Intercultural skills. Knowledge of French culture is an asset.
    • Commitment to diversity and equity, including comfort working with diverse teams.

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must have a US work visa or be a US permanent resident or US citizen.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
During the event planning period [for online or in-person events], team members are working remotely. When participants are in town, team members accompany the group.
